Not attending, but still want to support the cause?
Life may not be back to normal yet, but we are hoping to bring our community together to support, encourage, and celebrate our students! We are excited to announce our first-ever virtual spring fundraiser to benefit La Jolla High School, Viking 5K Charge!, to be held on May 15-16, 2021.
Join with friends and family of the La Jolla community and participate in the Viking 5K Charge! Beginning March 1st, sign up and register to run, walk, bike (or crawl!) one of our 5K routes or a route of your own. Join us for a fun "photo finish opportunity" on either Saturday or Sunday May 15 and 16 at the LJHS Coggan Pool parking lot.
We will also be hosting a t-shirt design contest beginning March 8th, with the entry that receives the most votes being selected as the official t-shirt design of the event. Every race registrant will receive a t-shirt commemorating this fun community event. We hope you will join us in our Charge!
All the funds that are raised at this virtual event help the Foundation of La Jolla High School in its mission to ensure that the level of excellence in both academics and sport are sustained at our amazing school. It is only with the generous support of our local friends, families and businesses that we are able to do what we do.
Programs supported by The Foundation of La Jolla High School include the following: Academics, Enrichment Advisors, Athletics, Classroom Improvements, Technology, Support Staff, Campus Beautification, and Maintenance.
